Job OverviewWe are looking for dependable team members to join our food production team as a Mixer / Scaler. In this role, you will measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production instructions. You will also help package ingredients, support mixing operations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
No specific education is required. Manufacturing or food production experience is helpful but not required.
What You'll Do- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes and production instructions.
- Divide large quantities of ingredients into smaller batches.
- Repackage bulk ingredients into smaller containers.
- Read and follow written formulas and work instructions.
- Add the correct ingredients and quantities to mixers and production batches.
- Assist with mixing operations and learn to operate mixing equipment.
- Lift and move materials weighing 50–75 lbs throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with a team to meet production goals.
- Record hours worked using the company's timekeeping system.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food processing experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 50–75 lbs.
- Stand and move throughout the entire shift.
- Work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Follow strict sanitation and safety guidelines.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
