About the Role

Join our production team as a Manufacturing Equipment Specialist, where you will play a vital role in the precision assembly of high-quality door components. You will leverage your technical aptitude to operate specialized machinery, ensuring that every product meets our rigorous quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Execute precise sizing and quality inspections using manual measuring tools like tape measures to ensure product accuracy.
  • Operate hinge-installation machinery, ensuring hardware is perfectly aligned and securely applied to bifold panels.
  • Optimize production flow by managing material changeovers, restocking rails, and removing cull boards to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs to keep production lines running at peak performance.
  • Maintain a high standard of station organization and cleanliness to support a seamless manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily output goals and communicate process improvements to supervisors.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and utilize required PPE to foster a secure workplace culture.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Proven experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow technical instructions and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Commitment to workplace safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience with woodworking or door assembly equipment.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools such as mallets, routers, and precision measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform minor equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance tasks.
