Role Description The CBP
32 Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Northumberland, PA. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting CBP
32 equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production of packaged food products. Daily tasks include setting up machines, performing routine checks, and verifying that packaging meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The CBP
32 Operator will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime. The role also involves following standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate production records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
Qualifications

  • Experience operating or monitoring automated production or packaging equipment, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical principles, equipment setup, and routine maintenance for industrial machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work instructions, and simple technical documentation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on throughput and minimal downtime.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, production reporting, and equipment interfaces.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work safely around production machinery.
  • Prior experience in co-packing, private label, or shelf-stable food production is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanics is a plus.
