CNC Machinist Openings

Multiple openings are available on a collaborative first-shift machine shop team, including CNC Lead Machinist, CNC Machinist, and Manual Machinist roles. You will work with HAAS and Fanuc-controlled 3-axis equipment to fabricate, modify, and inspect precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. These positions offer the opportunity to program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

• Set up and operate manual and CNC equipment including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related machinery.
• Program CNC machines for new parts, focusing on high-precision and complex components, particularly on CNC mills.
• Interpret complex blueprints, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Layout, measure, mark, and scribe metal stock for machining operations on materials ranging from small to large dimensions.
• Fabricate, modify, repair, and assemble tooling, dies, fixtures, and machine components to support production needs.
• Develop tooling specifications from general descriptions and create sketches or drawings when required.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Make real-time program edits and machining adjustments to resolve issues and maintain tight tolerances.

• Proven experience with CNC machining operations, including setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to program CNC machines for high-precision, complex components, including 3-axis milling operations.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation of complex drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Skilled in using precise measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Capability to perform CNC setup and operation, including tooling selection, and machine offsets.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
