CNC Burn Table Operator
Pay: $22–$36/hr. (based on experience) + 10% Shift Differential
Schedule:
2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:00 PM + OT
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC Burn Table Operator to operate cutting equipment used to cut and prepare steel parts. Experience with CNC burn tables, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, or other industrial cutting equipment is preferred. Candidates with general machine operation, fabrication, or manufacturing experience are also encouraged to apply.
You must be comfortable working in a shop that is not climate-controlled.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC, burn table, machine operation, or fabrication experience preferred
- Experience with plasma or oxy-fuel cutting is a plus
- Able to read basic blueprints and measurements
- Able to make basic machine adjustments
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete training
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor the CNC burn table
- Set up cutting jobs and make basic adjustments
- Cut steel according to drawings and specifications
- Check cut parts for quality and accuracy
- Load and unload steel safely
- Remove slag and clean finished parts
- Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance
