Job Summary

Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Nurse Manager at Jefferson Health. The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who manages the financial, human, and other resources for the provision of quality patient care for an assigned area over a twenty-four hour period. The role includes supervising the caliber of treatment and care of patients, directing staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor, and facilitating a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care.

• Supervises the caliber of treatment and care of patients.
• Directs the staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.

• Manages financial, human, and other resources for the provision of quality patient care for an assigned area over a twenty-four hour period.

• Master’s Degree in Nursing;
  Nursing Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania required.
• Three (3) years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 7 years of OR experience strongly preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred or within one year of hire.
• Previous leadership experience required.
