Hours:
Twelve (12) Hour Shifts.
The RN House Supervisor will exercise delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit/location for their assigned shift. They will serve as a leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization and support hospital administration while on duty to provide staff and patient problem resolution and answer any policy related questions that may arise.
House Supervisors must demonstrate excellent judgment and analytical ability to oversee hospital operations and patient placement while on duty and use critical thinking skills to assist health care providers in their delivery of care by utilizing available resources to provide safe patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate’s Degree required
- 2-3 years RN Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting
- Previous work experience in a supervisory, management or other healthcare leadership capacity
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- BLS Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- ICU Experience
