Licensed Practical Nurse - Selinsgrove Center; 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Medication Support: Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established procedures
• Health Monitoring: Observe behavior and physical condition; record and report what you find
• Appointment Assistance: Accompany individuals to outside medical consultations and assist during visits
• Hygiene Care: Monitor and assist in personal hygiene care
• Policy Compliance: Follow nursing standards along with agency policies and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse

  3rd Shift 10:15 AM - 6:15 AM
  • You will have rotating break days with every other weekend off
  • Holidays as assigned
  • Travel and overtime as needed

• Salary:
  Starting annual salary of $67,558 before taxes (for candidates new to employment in PA).

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and a drug screening test.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
