Position: Senior Specialist, Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics – Immuno-Oncology (QP2‑IO)

Role Overview

  • Senior Scientist (Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics – Immune/Oncology, QP2-IO) supporting oncology pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Contribute to model-based strategies (translational PK/PD, mechanistic models, POPPK/PD, clinical trial simulations) to support quantitative analyses across programs to inform and optimize drug discovery and all phases of development (dose selection, trial design, go/no-go decisions).
  • Represent QP2-IO on oncology discovery, early clinical development, and late clinical development teams using quantitative approaches to streamline programs.
  • Collaborate with functional areas and external partners/vendors on study design, protocol development, execution, and reporting/interpretation of data.
Minimum Education
  • Ph.D. with 0–2 years experience; OR
  • PharmD or MS or equivalent with preferably 2–4 years of relevant experience (increasing responsibility/independence in drug development, regulatory agency, or academia).
Required Experience & Skills
  • Background in biopharmaceutics/pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacometrics/chemical or biomedical engineering (or related).
  • Experience performing population PK and PK/PD analyses using software such as NONMEM, Monolix, or Phoenix.
  • Strong written/verbal communication; interdisciplinary collaboration; problem scoping and planning.
Preferred
  • Oncology clinical drug development program knowledge.
  • Experimental design, mathematical problem solving, critical data analysis/interpretation, and statistics.
  • Understanding of biopharmaceutical and ADME properties of small molecules and/or biologics.
