Position Overview
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research program to investigate the mechanisms underlying tumor heterogeneity and plasticity in melanoma with the goal of identifying novel treatment strategies for melanoma patients. Our research aims to identify and target pathway dependencies and vulnerabilities in drug tolerant persister cells in order to prevent metastasis and improve treatment options for melanoma patients.
ResearchFocus and Responsibilities
- Characterize alterations that occur in the extracellular matrix during the establishment of drug tolerance.
- Investigate therapies that mediate changes within the tumor immune microenvironment as an approach to improve response to immunotherapies.
- Apply molecular and cellular biology, 3D cell culture, flow cytometry, omics studies, and mouse models to study fundamental mechanisms and translate findings into clinical applications.
PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
