- Shift Leadership:
Lead store activities during your assigned shift and guide clerks through daily tasks - Customer Support:
Assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them locate products - Sales Processing:
Operate the cash register and complete sales transactions accurately - Store Operations:
Stock shelves, unload shipments, and assemble displays to keep products available - Team Training:
Show new or less experienced clerks how to follow store procedures and policies - Record Management:
Complete shift reports and handle basic inventory and cash related tasks

- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.
- Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk.
- Six months of retail sales work.
- Other Requirements:
- You must meet PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Legal Requirement:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
