While this is a hybrid position located in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
This position includes a base salary plus a performance-based bonus.
A company vehicle and gas card is included for travel.
They are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Consultant with relevant surveying, engineering, or construction experience to manage and grow our customer base in Eastern Pennsylvania.
In this high-visibility, field-based role, you will travel daily throughout the region to meet customers directly on-site. Your primary focus will be to understand their unique survey, mapping and workflow needs, demonstrate industry-leading Trimble instruments and geospatial software, and cultivate long-term partnerships that increase client productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, professional networking, and market research within survey, engineering, and construction organizations. - Technical Demonstrations:
Conduct live, hands-on demonstrations of high-tech geospatial instruments and software solutions, effectively educating customers on product capabilities. - Account & Pipeline Management:
Manage the complete sales cycle—from generating initial quotes and negotiating terms to closing deals and tracking progress against individual and organizational goals. - Relationship & Field Sales:
Execute a repeatable sales workflow driven by consistent outreach, active pipeline management, and frequent daily field visits to clients. - Customer Support:
Provide exceptional post-sales follow-up and first-level technical support to strategic accounts, collaborating with internal teams to minimize customer downtime. - Market Intelligence:
Regularly identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the regional market to maintain a strong competitive edge. - Continuous Learning:
Participate in manufacturer and Trimble training programs to consistently enhance your technical knowledge base.
- Industry
Experience:
Direct experience working as a Surveyor, Survey Technician (field or office), or GIS Professional is highly preferred. - Sales Capabilities:
Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics. - Customer Service:
World-class verbal and written communication skills with experience thriving in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. - Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Sage CRM) and standard productivity tools (MS Teams, Windows, Word, Excel). - Work Ethic & Mindset: A resilient, "can-do" attitude with the tenacity to unemotionally overcome sales obstacles, setbacks, and rejection.

Excellent analytical decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision. - Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel 60% or more within Eastern PA territory based on business needs.
