Position Summary

The Hybrid Biosimilar Account Specialist (BAS) engages Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations and face‑to‑face interactions to promote biosimilar products and meet client objectives. The role combines inside and field‑based sales, requiring 30‑50% travel nationally, including overnight, air, and car travel for field activities. The remainder of the time is spent working from the office or remotely from home.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
  • Manage daily sales call activity, engaging customers and increasing sales.
  • Promote product(s) via telephone (outbound/inbound) and in person (field visits) by engaging assigned HCP targets in in‑depth discussions to attain individual, territory, and company goals.
  • Profile and manage a targeted list of accounts and HCPs to grow business in the assigned territory.
  • Discuss acquisition cost with community physician groups.
  • Communicate letter of purchase agreements to key account stakeholders.
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory client goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for community physician groups.
  • Establish professional working relationships with key decision makers, support staff, and influencers within assigned territories.
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using approved messaging and promotional aids.
  • Verify and complete required data entry into CRM systems, recording target responses and any follow‑through actions.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • While in the field, carefully manage the promotional budget.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with clients and their customers.
  • Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Work with cross‑functional field team members to ensure alignment within accounts.
  • Help guide and advise customers via headquarters‑approved materials on pull‑through activities.
  • Fully comply with all client policies and guidance, including the code of conduct, federal and state laws, privacy and data guidelines, and PhRMA code.
  • Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) national, regional, and district meetings and training sessions (client and Amplity).
  • Represent client at national and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Other projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Travel within the US outside the territory; average up to 30‑50%, which could include conventions or national meetings.
Key Working Relationships
  • Report to Amplity Health Sales Manager.
  • Work closely with the client manager and other assigned team members.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and client contacts.
Required

Education and Experience
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 2 years of previous sales experience in pharmaceutical or B2B healthcare sales.
  • Experience promoting or strong understanding of biosimilar products.
  • Experience with buy‑and‑bill model and/or B2B discussions.
Preferred
  • Experience promoting Oncology/Hematology accounts.
  • Complex account and territory management experience.
  • Experience and understanding of hospital and clinic contracting.
  • Experience selling using remote engagement.
  • Experience executing total account calls with directors of pharmacy, CFOs, practice managers, physicians, infusion nurses, and benefit investigators.
  • Experience discussing acquisition cost across community physician groups.
  • Experience communicating letter of purchase agreements to account stakeholders.
