Job Description
Our Sales team supports customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs and resources. We support healthcare providers and systems to meet the goals of patients in their communities.
Customer Team Leader (CTL)The CTL plays a critical role in establishing the company's customer-focused initiative. This field-based sales management position covers the Eastern Pennsylvania district, with major workload centers in Philadelphia, Lancaster, Allentown, Norristown, and Reading. It may require up to 25% overnight travel per month, depending on the candidate’s location, with the ideal residence within the sales district.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage Customer Representatives in identifying customer needs.
- Coach representatives, oversee training, complete people‑management processes, and develop and resource the team to address customer needs.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams through change and new challenges using situational coaching and emotional intelligence.
- Self‑starter comfortable working and leading in ambiguity, seeing potential for the organization.
- Communicates with courage and candor as the engagement model evolves.
- Customer‑centric mindset to listen to customers and understand their objectives and relationships.
- Leads by example, modeling flexibility, candor, and a willingness to respond during change while maintaining positivity.
- Demonstrated account planning and management skills, collaborating with extended teams toward common goals.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS with 6‑8 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of equivalent experience, including at least 4 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel the amount required.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3 years working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
- Minimum 2 years in marketing, managed care, or sales support within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience selling in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industry.
- Previous field sales management experience.
- Capability to establish relationships and networks within a customer organization.
- Vaccines experience.
