Join Allied Universal as an EMT Certified Security Officer where you will be a member of a pre-hospital emergency care medical team. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. A valid driver's license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. ** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*

** This is an ON-SITE ONLY ambulance (EMT) AND security patrol position.*
* + Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating the transport to medical facilities.

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher such as requests for medical assistance following emergency response proceedings.

+ Provide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification.

+ Determine the nature and extent of illness and injury.

+ Report all medical incidents, accidents or emergencies to include completing a Daily Activity Log on every shift, describing all activities.

+ Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client property.

+ Establish priorities in order to determine procedures to be followed for emergency first aid or assistance; request additional help, including special rescue and utility services.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An EMT certification is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
