+ Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).

* + Candidates applying for positions that require emergency medical response must have a current EMT certification (C127).

** Technical Proficiency:*
* + Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to perform job-related tasks effectively.

** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.

+ Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and reporting maintenance, access-control, and security-related concerns.

* + EMT certification is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
