JGM is looking for a reliable, hardworking Laborer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in construction, learn hands-on skills, and work alongside experienced professionals on real job sites.

What You'll Do

As a Laborer at JGM, you'll support our crews by:

* Assisting skilled tradespeople with daily tasks

* Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment

* Preparing job sites by cleaning, organizing, and removing hazards

* Setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures

* Following directions from supervisors and working as part of a team

* Learning to safely use hand and power tools

* Helping maintain tools and equipment

* Following all safety rules to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

* Reliable and ready to work

* Comfortable with physical, hands-on work

* Willing to learn new skills and take direction

* A good team player with a positive attitude

* Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions

* Able to lift and move materials safely

Preferred, but not required:

* Previous construction, labor, landscaping, warehouse, or similar experience

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

* Perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and climbing

* Safely lift and move up to 100 pounds with proper technique

* Use common construction tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, hammers, and levels

* Work on ladders, elevated platforms, and job sites when properly trained

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection

* Maintain awareness of surroundings to identify and avoid hazards
