Track Hoe Operator (Lebanon, Manheim, Quarryville Locations) Job Description

B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., a well-established excavating and paving company, is looking for a full-time TRACKHOE OPERATOR who enjoys the outdoors and takes pride in a job well done. Qualified candidates need to be able to operate a trackhoe in a safe manner for bulk excavations, trench work and installing utilities.

• Knowledge of equipment operation procedures
• Knowledge of safety requirements on the job, such as confined spaces, ditch work and road traffic control
• Read and understand blueprints, grade sheets and recording as-builts
• Skilled at sanitary sewer pipe work, fittings and testing
• Skilled at storm sewer pipe work
• Skilled at setting up and adjusting lasers
• Familiar with state, township and borough specifications and requirements
• Skilled at hoe-ramming rock, tamping trenches and digging/loading mass excavations
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Ensure safety of self and others when traveling and on job sites

• Valid Driver's License Required
• CDL Class A license preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years trackhoe experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
