Position: ACI Certified Concrete Technician

Travel: between White Haven, PA and Sugarloaf, PA job sites

Pay Range: $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr (Based on experience and certifications)

About the role: The Technician reports to direct field supervision and is responsible for all project‑related tasks including carrying materials and heavy objects, setting up concrete operations for final product, cleaning the job site, and chipping concrete. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support assigned construction tasks and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines.

This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.

Position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications

ACI Certified Concrete Technician
Must be capable of executing concrete technician procedures.
Familiar with concrete work, demolition, chipping, pouring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail‑oriented

Job duties and responsibilities

Carry, load, or unload materials

Shovel, rake, spread and vibrate concrete into place.

Proper use of concrete tools

Arrive to project site on time and participate in job discussions and daily safety meetings

Clean up site trash and debris and place in dumpster or appropriate dedicated disposal area

Work with and maintain construction related equipment when needed (grout machines, drilling machines, compressors)

Responsible for your own safety and required to wear proper jobsite PPE as directed

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and 30 pounds to above shoulder level throughout a scheduled work shift.

Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.

Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl.

Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.

Position requires acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing.

It also requires the ability to reach, lift and perform work above shoulder height—and the ability to work on uneven surfaces and in confined spaces.
