Back Yard Tech – PA Location
Ashley, Pennsylvania
ScheduleMonday to Friday, 40 hours per week
SalaryHourly rate starting at $26.00, depending on experience
Responsibilities- Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Utilize all technical support resources (parts and maintenance manuals) to diagnose mechanical problems and repair equipment.
- Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts, such as bearings, pistons, and gears, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Execute test runs on machines to verify they are operating smoothly and have no mechanical issues.
- Maintain the work area in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
- Provide accurate and sufficient information on all required documents.
- Wash machines before they leave the yard for a customer job site.
- Heavy equipment repair and maintenance: 2+ years.
- Hydraulics: 2+ years.
- Diesel engines: 2+ years.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Crusher and screener experience preferred.
- Proficiency with required technology, including iOS and MS Windows products.
- Physical ability to work under temperature extremes and for extended hours.
