This role supports consumers by gathering referral information, determining eligibility for services, and guiding individuals to community programs. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work with Microsoft software to create fliers, calendars, and spreadsheets for advertising and organizational purposes. As an Aging Case Aide 2, Bilingual, you will perform the following duties:
- Referral Processing:Review referral sources, enter new information, and track consumer status
- Call Screening:Identify presenting issues, gather important details, and direct callers to proper resources
- Eligibility Support:Determine benefit eligibility and assist consumers with completing forms and applications
- Consumer Guidance:Interview consumers, explain aging programs, and help families make informed choices
- Documentation Management:Record detailed case histories, actions taken, and outcomes for all contacts
- Community Engagement:Participate in wellness fairs and coordinate holiday gift events with partner organizations
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- One year as an Aging Case Aide 1;
or - Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program;
or - Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This particular position requires the selected candidate to be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish. You may be contacted for a Spanish speaking proficiency evaluation conducted by the Bureau of Talent Acquisition, PA Office of Administration. If contacted, you must pass the speaking evaluation in order to be deemed eligible for this position. Your proficiency in reading and writing in Spanish must be demonstrated during the probationary period to achieve regular status in the position.
