Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class B CDL Roll-Off Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and pickup of roll-off containers at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating roll-off trucks, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays as business needs require.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Safely operate a Class B CDL roll-off truck in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.

* Deliver, exchange, and remove roll-off containers at customer locations.

* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.

* Secure containers and verify proper placement at customer sites.

* Maintain accurate route, service, and inspection records.

* Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding service needs and schedule changes.

* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

* Report equipment issues, accidents, incidents, or safety concerns immediately.

* Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned vehicle and equipment.

* Provide excellent customer service while representing the company in a professional manner.

* Assist with other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with acceptable driving record.

* Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.

* Previous roll-off, waste, recycling, construction, or transportation experience preferred.

* Ability to safely operate hydraulic equipment and roll-off systems.

* Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Ability to use electronic logging devices (ELDs), mobile applications, and route documentation systems.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to frequently climb in and out of the truck cab.

* Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed throughout the workday.

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and dust.

* Ability to safely perform duties in industrial, construction, and customer site environments.
