Delivery Driver – Part Time Seasonal Reports to
Site Manager
Position ObjectiveResponsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and packages to customers. This includes loading and unloading vehicles, following delivery routes and schedules, with the underlying expectation being to meet the cooperative's mission and goals which will ultimately result in outstanding customer service.
Qualifications- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Class A/B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsement.
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Safety is the priority and driving in a safe manner.
- Deliver product to customers.
- Operate electric pallet jack.
- Documentation of maintenance of vehicles according to DOT standards.
- Assist with the performance of daily maintenance checks on all running equipment.
- Fill orders daily, ensuring quality and satisfaction of customers.
- Comply with company safety policy, housekeeping standards.
- Maintain CDL.
- Work with other locations when necessary.
- Cleaning shelves.
- Stocking shelves.
- Counting inventory.
- Sweeping and other basic housekeeping tasks.
- Miscellaneous office tasks.
- All other duties as assigned.
2-5 years of experience in driving with commercial vehicles preferred.
Job DetailsThis is a part-time seasonal position which is defined as a job that is offered on a temporary basis for a specific period of time, typically during a peak season. Peak season for agronomy can vary depending on weather. Typical peak season is May – Jul. At the end of the peak season this position is no longer needed. Hours daily range between 8-12 hours and are expected 6 days per week, Monday through Saturday.
