Key Responsibilities
  • Own overall warehouse inventory accuracy across SKU, serial number, location, and status.
  • Establish and execute daily cycle count schedules and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate shortages, overages, mispicks, receiving/shipping errors, and location discrepancies.
  • Document root causes for recurring issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Maintain strict controls for damaged, quarantined, held, or customer-specific stock.
  • Assist with internal, financial, and customer inventory audits.
  • Serve as a hands-on floater to support Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns during volume spikes.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to spot misplaced items, labeling issues, or unprocessed inventory.
  • Enforce proper scanning, system transactions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Guide team members on inventory best practices and process execution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant, and safe floor environment.
  • Track inventory KPIs including cycle count accuracy, location accuracy, and open investigations.
  • Analyze recurring defects and present actionable recommendations to Operations Leadership.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Finance, and IT to resolve cross-departmental inventory handoffs.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, distribution, or fulfillment.
  • Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven experience with cycle counts, physical inventory, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Comfort working actively on the warehouse floor and shifting priorities quickly based on daily operational demand.
  • Background handling serialized electronics, mobile devices, or high-mix technology products.
  • Experience with 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prior involvement in WMS implementations or system scanning enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
Success Metrics
  • High inventory and location accuracy maintained consistently.
  • Timely resolution of open inventory discrepancies and root-cause fixes.
  • Smooth support delivered across operational departments without compromising accuracy standards.
