Position: Nursery Manager (Permanent)
On behalf of a beautiful, purpose-built Nursery in Reading, Remedicare are actively recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

* £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

This attractive Nursery is looking for a motivated and responsible Manager who will be able to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the setting. As Nursery Manager, you will lead a team to deliver outstanding care and education to all the children in your setting, and through inspirational leadership drive employee engagement, retention and performance.

The Nursery is a specially designed space in Woodley, Reading, that ensures a secure and engaging environment for early learning, featuring tailored rooms to promote independence and learning, and a fantastic secure garden and play area.

In return you will be working with a stable and established employer who is more than willing to support and develop the right individual to become a successful Nursery Manager.

This is working full time, Monday to Friday, with flexible shift times on offer to the successful applicant.

Nursery Manager

Skills and Experience:

* Level 3 or above in Early Years Education / Childcare or equivalent (Level 5 in Childcare or Management & Leadership is desirable but not essential)

* Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within a Nursery setting

* Have a thorough understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and recruitment

* An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating a varied staff team

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the smooth daily running and high-quality practice of the nursery by maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and local and national guidelines

* Lead and inspire the staff team to provide outstanding childcare and education.

* Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff

* Regularly liaise with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
