Deputy Nursery Manager

Overview

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early years education. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional care and education to children.

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursery. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, and ensuring the smooth running of operations.

• Assist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures
• Support and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed
• Ensure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect
• Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery s quality of care and education

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
• Experience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training
