The family consists of two busy adults who travel frequently and two girls aged 11 and 14. They are seeking a professional who is friendly with children, confident in managing a household independently, and capable of preparing healthy meals to a high standard.

Hurst is a desirable Berkshire village offering a peaceful residential setting while remaining within easy reach of Wokingham and surrounding towns, providing a pleasant working environment.

Working as a Housekeeper Cook within this household requires a proactive and responsible approach, particularly as the principals travel regularly. The successful candidate will be entrusted with managing the home in the absence of the principals, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. The role combines housekeeping, family cooking, and driving duties. You will prepare healthy meals for the family and occasionally for their friends, hosting up to six guests every fortnight.

Full laundry care and ironing are required, as well as walking a small, well-behaved dog. The role also includes managing household bills and driving the two girls to and from school. A driving licence is essential, and a vehicle with automatic transmission may be provided if needed.
