Wise Owls Childcare is looking for a qualified, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Farm View Day Nursery in Spencers Wood. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing, child-centred environment, supporting children aged 8 weeks to 5 years as they learn, develop and thrive.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for high-quality early years education and understands the important role Early Years Educators play in building children's confidence, curiosity and lifelong love of learning.

As a qualified Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through high-quality care and education.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Acting as a Key Person for a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are understood and supported.
• Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Observing, assessing and monitoring children's development and progress.
• Maintaining accurate learning journeys and developmental records.
• Identifying next steps in learning and supporting children to achieve their full potential.
• Sharing children's achievements, progress and development with parents and carers.
• Supporting children's personal, social, emotional and educational development.
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
• Taking an active role in maintaining high standards of care, education and safeguarding.

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
• Good understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Experience working within an early years setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

• Full-time permanent position / Flexible Positions are available
• Up to 42.5 hours per week
• Working across 4 or 5 days
• Shifts operate between 7:45am and 6:15pm, Monday to Friday
