Children's Home Registered Manager - Up to £70,000 - Monday to Friday Lead with Care and Make a Lasting Difference

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to take the reins of a brand-new residential service for children and young people. This is a chance to shape a home from the very beginning - building a positive culture, setting high standards, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

With a salary of up to £55,000, excellent training and development, and the opportunity to leave your mark on a new service, this role is ideal for a passionate leader who wants to combine career progression with making a lasting difference.

What We're Looking For:
  • A recognised Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Residential Care or the willingness to work towards it (must already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing a children's residential home
    .
  • Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, children's rights, and residential childcare standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including on-call duties.
  • Passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong, supportive leadership to staff teams within the children's home.
  • Ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
  • Lead by example in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people.
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and daily operations of the home.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, supporting them to reach their full potential.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and administrative responsibilities effectively.

    Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals to deliver the best outcomes.
