Bartender – Malmaison Reading

Pay: £12.30/hour (40 hours per week). Permanent position.

About the location:
The historic station hotel dates back to 1844 and offers 76 bedrooms, a 74‑seater bar & grill, and six private event spaces. It is situated on the Great Western mainline railway with easy access to the M4 motorway.

– Serve all types of drinks – beers, wines, spirits and cocktails; be able to identify and recommend different wines and spirits.

– Provide friendly banter and drink knowledge to guests, whether for a quick drink after work, before a night out or as part of the wider F&B experience.

– Maintain a high standard of presentation, cleanliness and hospitality.

– Learn new skills and progress internally; potential development towards a Bar Manager position.
