Typical Schedule:

4 days on, 3 days off (approx. 37.5 hours/week)

We're looking for a charismatic and driven Bar Manager to take charge of a lively multi-venue operation in Reading. You'll be the heartbeat of the bar scene-leading a young, energetic team, curating unforgettable guest experiences, and keeping everything running like clockwork.

  • Your Role
  • Manage day-to-day bar operations across multiple venues
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of student bar staff
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing and safety standards
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and team performance
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Handle payment systems and financial procedures
  • Innovate with drinks menus, promotions, and service ideas

  • Proven experience managing bar operations
  • Confident leadership and team-building skills

  • Basic knowledge of profit & loss and stock management
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification required
