Casual Customer Service Assistant

Casual customer service assistant post at Cranfield Conference Centre Ltd, covering shifts as and when the business needs them. The work spans food and beverage, conference and events guest care, housekeeping, kitchen and reception, with a strong focus on service standards and health and safety. Shifts can fall any day between 06.00 and 23.00, with numbers varying each week, and the centre provides uniform and in-house training.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Ensure an exceptional standard of customer service at all times
- Comply with the health and safety policy at all times
- Remove faulty equipment from use and report it under the correct procedures
- Carry out other reasonable tasks requested by the management team
- Work across departments including food and beverage, guest care for conferences and events, housekeeping, kitchen and reception
Skills & knowledge
- Genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Warmth and enthusiasm
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in food and beverage, guest care, housekeeping, kitchen or reception work
- Uniform provided (footwear excluded)
- In-house training
- Full training given for those without experience in the areas
