Electrical Supervisor

A working supervisor role to oversee and manage a team of electricians on several frameworks to be completed across the Thames Valley region for Thames Water.

• Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with all overtime paid. Overtime during weekends paid at an inflated rate.
• Responsible for supervising electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
• Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
• Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work if unsafe circumstances arise.
• Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
• Promote and demonstrate Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
• Promote positive health and wellbeing among peers.
• Act professionally and represent Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining a positive reputation.

• ECS Gold Card (essential)
• SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
• Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification where appropriate
• Experience with in the water/waste water industry
• Experience supervising a small team on installations
• Emergency first aid or First Aider
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
• Full UK driving licence
• Fit to work medical
