Position: Mobile Plant Engineer (Permanent)
Mobile Plant Engineer – Field Service

Location:

Remote – Opportunities across the UK

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (42.5 hours/week)
Pay:
Door-to-door | £40,000 – £44,500 Basic | £60,000 – £70,000 OTE

A well-established and respected main dealer is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to join their expanding team across multiple UK locations. The Role:

Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction and plant equipment
Diagnose faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Perform breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites
Utilise diagnostic tools and create digital service reports
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Package & Benefits:

£40,000 – £44,500 Basic salary
£60,000 – £70,000 OTE (with door-to-door pay and enhanced overtime rates)

Requirements:
Essential:

Full UK Driving Licence
Qualifications or Time-served experience as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer
Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics
Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on-site Preferred:

Background with OEM/dealership equipment
Quarry or heavy earthmoving experience desirable
CSCS / IPAF / Quarry Passport
