Legionella Plumber

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Salary: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a growing name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, who have a busy presence across the South East of England. They are seeking a switched‑on Legionella Plumber, who can confidently react to changing client needs. As a minimum, applicants must hold the G3 Unvented ticket and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. The role will involve both reactive and pre‑planned maintenance, ensuring clients are receiving a thorough and holistic service.

It would be advantageous to hold experience of undertaking domestic plumbing services (e.g. bathroom repairs/installations). The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages (including a company vehicle and overtime opportunities).

Experience / Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience as a Legionella Plumber
  • Qualified with the NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing
  • Hold the G3 Unvented ticket
  • Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 264 guidelines
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficient in using IT software
The Role
  • Undertaking a wide array of reactive and pre-planned remedial plumbing duties in line with ACOP L8 and HSG 264 guidelines
  • Tank installations, replacements and refurbishments
  • TMV installations and replacements
  • Installing POU water heaters and completing subsequent servicing / repairs
  • Making adjustments to existing pipework
  • Deadleg removals
  • Calorifier replacements
  • Identifying faults on site and making appropriate recommendations for remedials
  • Producing regular service reports
  • Quoting for works
