Carpenter Multi Trader

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing professionals within the repairs & maintenance sector.

We are currently working with a number of established contractors and housing providers who are looking to recruit an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader.

This is an excellent opportunity to join well-established maintenance teams delivering essential repairs within residential properties.

Duties will include:

Carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs including doors, frames, locks, and general joinery
Kitchen repairs and installations (including basic 1st & 2nd fix work)
Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fix repairs where possible
Undertaking additional multi-trade works such as basic plumbing, patch plastering and decorating
Responsive maintenance and repairs within occupied and void properties
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
Managing workload effectively and updating jobs via mobile systems
What we are looking for:

Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi Trader
Essential:

Experience with in Social Housing, MOD or similar residential environments
Strong carpentry skills as your core trade, with additional trade knowledge
Relevant qualifications desirable (NVQ/City & Guilds)
Full UK driving licence
