Vehicle Technician – Specialized Independent & No Weekends

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (Depending on experience and qualification level).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 – stable weekday hours with strictly no weekend shifts.

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our busy Reading workshop, you will:

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and digital service book updates to strict standards.
• Complete high-quality mechanical repairs, including braking systems, steering, advanced suspension work, and engine maintenance.
• Utilize specialized brand diagnostic systems to efficiently investigate, troubleshoot, and rectify complex faults.
• Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results while operating productively alongside a close-knit team of motor mechanics.

• Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent time-served experience).
• Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician
  , Car Mechanic
  , or Service Technician (experience with premium or specialized European brands is highly desirable).
• Key Strengths: Dedicated work ethic, strong diagnostic problem-solving skills, own tools, and great attention to detail.
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential (an active MOT Tester licence is always an advantage!).
