Electricians, AWE Aldermaston (2 Positions)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Gold Card Electricians for a long‑term project at AWE Aldermaston, working on containment and electrical infrastructure within a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Installation of containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking
1st fix electrical installations
Lighting and power distribution
Work from technical drawings
Installation work across site areas
Liaise with site management and other trades

Requirements

Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
Previous experience on commercial or large‑scale projects
Strong containment experience essential
Own tools and PPE
Ability to work from drawings
Must be able to pass strict security clearance (can take up to 2 weeks depending on submission speed)

Key Details

Hours:

07:00 – 16:30 (9 hours paid)
Must be in the car park by 07:00 to secure parking
Long‑term work available
Must bring passport, driving licence, and utility bill on first day
All candidates will be subject to drug and alcohol testing during induction
