As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles while ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components
• Inspecting vehicle structure, suspension, and mechanical systems
• Reassembling vehicles following repairs and carrying out quality inspections
• Performing wheel alignment and vehicle safety checks where required
• Identifying additional damage and reporting repair requirements
• Completing quality control checks and ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer standards
• Maintaining accurate repair documentation and job records
• Ensuring all safety-critical components are fitted and torqued correctly
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians, and Vehicle Damage Assessors to maintain an efficient repair process

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician, or Vehicle MET Technician within a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre
• Strong mechanical, suspension, and auto electrical knowledge
• Experience carrying out high-quality strip and refit work to manufacturer standards
• Knowledge of computerised wheel alignment systems
• Air Conditioning and Encapsulated Glass qualifications (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing first-class repairs
• A positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
