Permanent Commercial Maintenance Electrician
Location:
Reading
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a busy commercial facility in Reading, carrying out electrical maintenance across commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience in commercial electrical systems who wants a stable, long‑term role with clear progression.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
- Maintain and service building services equipment (lighting, power distribution, small plant, etc.)
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ/City & Guilds 18th Edition)
- Proven experience in commercial building electrical maintenance
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional approach to clients and colleagues
- Competitive salary £40,000 – £45,000
