- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (Depending on experience and qualification level).

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30

Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician /
Car Mechanic in our busy Reading workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing
, scheduled maintenance, and digital service book updates to strict standards. - Complete high-quality mechanical repairs
, including braking systems, steering, advanced suspension work, and engine maintenance. - Utilize specialized brand diagnostic systems to efficiently investigate, troubleshoot, and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results while operating productively alongside a close-knit team of motor mechanics.
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (
NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent time-served experience). - Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic (hands‑on experience with premium German brands like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or VW is highly desirable).
- Key Strengths: Dedicated work ethic, strong diagnostic problem‑solving skills, own tools, and great attention to detail.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is always an advantage!
