• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (Depending on experience and qualification level).

As a vital Vehicle Technician /
Car Mechanic in our busy Reading workshop, you will:

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing
  , scheduled maintenance, and digital service book updates to strict standards.
• Complete high-quality mechanical repairs
  , including braking systems, steering, advanced suspension work, and engine maintenance.
• Utilize specialized brand diagnostic systems to efficiently investigate, troubleshoot, and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results while operating productively alongside a close-knit team of motor mechanics.

• Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (
  NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent time-served experience).
• Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic (hands‑on experience with premium German brands like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or VW is highly desirable).
• Key Strengths: Dedicated work ethic, strong diagnostic problem‑solving skills, own tools, and great attention to detail.
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is always an advantage!
