PPM Engineer

Overview

• Provide remote engineering support to field‑based engineers, including incident triage, remote resolution, firmware upgrades and patching.
• Offer technical expertise in fault finding and repairs across a variety of PC/network‑based and analogue security systems, including CCTV, Intruder, ACS, Traka and Surelock McGill lock systems.
• Apply technical knowledge to the maintenance and repair of CCTV systems, Lenel, IDS and Traka, incorporating PC‑based digital recorders, fibre optic transmission systems, LAN/WAN networks and radio telemetry systems.
• Liaise with field engineers where required.
• Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to the business’s activities.
• Strive for personal development and performance, engage in performance reviews, and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge through training.
• Operate according to business‑specific applications and processes, including order submission, stock control, timesheet submission and job closing.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience (4+ years).
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intercom and intruder systems.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and digital electronics principles.
• Experience with Lenel OnGuard and other access control platforms.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and other network fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gain the client’s DV level clearance.
