Water Hygiene Engineer –
Location:
Reading
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week + overtime
About the RoleA well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team. You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.

- Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites
- Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling
- Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works
- Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers
- Completing shower head descaling and disinfection tasks
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG
274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within water hygiene or a related plumbing position
- Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training
- Full UK driving licence
