Audio Visual Technician

Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service Engineer to carry out preventative and remedial maintenance on audio visual and videoconferencing installations in commercial and government buildings. This field service role involves travel to client sites in London and the Southern Counties, with occasional national coverage.

Mon to Fri: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (flexi). Main office – Woodley.

• Plan, arrange and attend service visits.
• Provide remote technical support.
• Update equipment and produce service reports.
• Maintain service records and respond to service call‑outs.

Must have:

• Proven track record as an audio‑visual service engineer.
• Experience with commercial audio‑visual and videoconferencing systems.
• Fault‑finding experience with audio‑visual systems.
• UK driving licence.
• Commute no more than an hour to the Woodley/Twyford area.
• SC Clearance or readiness to undergo SC Clearance vetting.

Knowledge and background:

• Crestron, Extron, QSC switching & control systems.
• Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet, Cisco videoconferencing systems.
• Barco Click Share.
• Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator, Biamp, QSC DSP software.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
• Professional and courteous communication with customers and colleagues.
• Effective time management, attention to detail and good memory.
