Duties Include:
Servicing and repair as directed by the Service Manager. Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, can-do attitude. Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system. Reporting to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
Experience with Forktrucks (Desirable but not essential). Confident Electrical knowledge. City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification is ideal but not essential, this could be time served Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven. Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions. Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure. Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite.
Good team player. Whilst it would be ideal for applicants to have experience of servicing and maintaining forktrucks, we welcome applicants with experience of mechanical and electrical engineering with some fault disgnostics experience. This is a permanent position where you will work a standard 40 hour week (8am - 4:30) In return you can expect a base salary of £34320 (£16.50p/h), rising to £36400 (£17.50 p/h) after successful completion of a 6 month probation.
