The Role From inspecting and fault-finding to maintenance and refurbishment work, you will play a hands-on role. You will ensure that everything is done efficiently and to the highest standards. Safety will be a priority. You will establish appropriate safety arrangements and ensure that both Network Rail staff and contractors follow safe working systems. By proactively managing and checking the quality of work and the competence of your people, you will see that assets fully comply and that all vehicles, machinery, tools, equipment and materials are fit for purpose.

Along the way, you will produce a range of essential reports. Signals and Telecommunications. You will work with equipment including signals that control when trains can run, level crossings, and point systems. With your willingness to learn, you will develop a wide range of technical skills across a variety of handheld, electrical, and digital equipment.
