Instaspark is seeking a qualified, quality-focused Electrician to join our growing field operations team. In this versatile mobile role, you will be employed directly by Instaspark to deliver top-tier electrical services across Reading and the surrounding regional patch. You will handle standalone Instaspark electrical jobs - such as consumer unit upgrades, testing, and full domestic installations - while also providing dedicated electrical support for projects carried out by our sister company, Instaloft.

You’ll manage a dynamic daily schedule, completing multiple jobs per day with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer care.

• Complete multiple domestic electrical appointments daily across the assigned regional patch.
• Deliver direct electrical services for Instaspark clients, including consumer unit upgrades, fault finding, circuit installations, and EICR testing.
• Provide dedicated electrical support on Instaloft home improvement projects - including rerouting wiring, extending lighting circuits, and relocating switches or sockets.
• Perform high-quality first and second-fix work, modifications, and final connections.
• Test, inspect, and issue relevant electrical certification (EICR / Minor Works) for every completed job.
• Represent the Instaspark brand professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service in clients' homes.
• Comply fully with Health & Safety guidelines and current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

• Qualifications:
  
  NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) + 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Testing:
  City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection and Testing qualification is strongly preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Proven domestic background with the flexibility to handle standalone electrical service work alongside supporting sister-company projects.
• Licence:
  Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Skills:
  
  Clear customer communication, strong problem-solving skills, and pride in clean, compliant workmanship.

• Base Salary: £40, per annum (depending on experience).
