Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Reading facility, you will:
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical & mechanical issues using factory‑level diagnostic software and scanners.
- Perform diverse repairs
, ranging from routine servicing to intricate mechanical component replacements. - Follow structured manufacturer guidelines to guarantee precise, safety‑first workmanship on every job.
- Maintain digital job records while collaborating with a supportive network of senior master technicians.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent). A solid background in a fast‑fit centre, auto repair shop, independent garage, or MOT station. F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for everyday workshop tasks. Strong team mindset, attention to detail, and a drive to master modern vehicle tech.
