We are hiring a Vehicle Technician to join our state-of-the-art service facility in Reading. This is your ultimate opportunity to trade high-volume stress for structured, professional career development.
The Rewards- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Transparently aligned with your qualifications and experience level).

Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Reading facility, you will:
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues using factory-level diagnostic software and scanners.
- Perform diverse repairs
, ranging from routine servicing to intricate mechanical component replacements. - Follow structured manufacturer guidelines to guarantee precise, safety-first workmanship on every job.
- Maintain digital job records while collaborating with a supportive network of senior master technicians.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent). A solid background in a fast-fit centre, auto repair shop, independent garage, or MOT station. F-Gas certification is preferred. - Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for everyday workshop tasks.
