Air Sourced is looking for an experienced Renewable Heating Service Engineer to join our technical team, with a particular focus on air source heat pumps.

This is much more than a routine service role. You'll be diagnosing complex faults, investigating underperforming systems, reviewing system design and finding practical ways to improve performance, efficiency and reliability.

If you enjoy getting to the root of a problem and understanding why a system isn't working as it should, this could be the role for you.

Reviewing flow rates, temperatures, pressures and hydraulic performance
Configuring and troubleshooting weather compensation and advanced controls
Carrying out technical audits and system assessments
Producing clear technical reports and remedial recommendations
Working with clients, manufacturers and contractors to resolve technical issues
Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers
You'll also assess heat loss, heat pump sizing, emitter outputs, pipe sizing and hydraulic arrangements, ensuring existing installations meet performance requirements and relevant MCS, Building Regulations and manufacturer standards.
